Growing up is fun to do!

June has flown by so fast! Earlier this month we celebrated Scott's 26th birthday. We kept it simple and had a family party with dinner and swimming! Currently Scott keeps busy with work, serving in the Bishopric, and we just found out that he will be teaching Seminary this year as well, he is also working on finishing our block wall! I can't wait for it to be done so I can finally have privacy from all my nosey Snow Bird Neighbors during the winter time! They are those who believe children shouldn't scream and cry and dogs should not bark... and they report you to the Sheriff's Department if they do. Funny thing about that is my husband works for the Sheriff's Department! Okay I am not going to get into that anymore for I have far too much to say and I am trying to forgive, forget, and move on. Scott has also been coaching T-ball this summer with his Brother Mark. Our son Ben and niece Lauren were on the same team. Can I just say I have never seen anything funnier and cuter until I became involved with T-ball. Watching a bunch of 4-7 yr old running around trying to catch a ball and tackling team mates to get them out. The season just ended last week and what a relief it did. Watching games in 110 degree weather at 6;00 at night was not much fun. Ben had so much fun playing he looked so grown up out there on the field waiting to try and catch a ball. (Pictures to come of the team I am waiting for them to come back. I forgot to take my camera to the games to take my own pictures.)

I just love kissing Jarett's he has the perfect Chub-O Wub-O checks for it! And he squeals with delight and laughs so hard when I ever I give him raspberries or kisses.

Quade has been Binky free for almost 2 weeks now!! Yeah for Quade! We had a little talk about how big boys don't need Binky's and that his Brother Ben doesn't use one. So Quade decided that was a good enough reason for him. I was so surprised that he was so willing to do this. His Binky was his most precious possession he has.. it was the only thing that could calm him during his horrific tantrum's. And he just gave it up like it never even mattered to him. The down side to this is he now feels he is too big to take his daily nap.
I can not convince him other wise. At least he made it to age
2 1/2, Ben quit taking naps when he was 19 months old. And little Jarett is only 7 1/2 months old and I have to fight him to take a nap twice a day... and if he does I am lucky if he sleeps for an hour. No one in my house sleeps any more. They would rather be doing other things..like getting into trouble and making messes for me to clean up.

I just love this picture! Of course my boys will probably not like it when they are older..especially since I am sharing it with everyone who reads my blog. Tuff for them it is my way of getting even with them for all their little crazy stunts they pull.
