Camping at Bear Canyon Lake

So two days after our trip to San Diego we packed up and went camping up on the Mogollon Rim by Bear Canyon Lake with our Neighbor's the Willis Family for Four Days. We camped luxury style by borrowing my husbands parent's brand new camper trailer! I must say it was a blessing to have. Usually I am all about roughing it with a tent. But being 7months prego I was not up to midnight bathroom trips into the forest to squat behind some tree!! Especially with it being so cold at night this time of the year. So for my sake we enjoyed running water, flush able toilet, oven and stove, fridge and freezer, and nice comfy beds to sleep in, along with a heater to keep warm with at night! Now that I have expeirenced the spoiled way of camping I am not sure I will ever be able to go back to a tent and peeing in the woods!!Ben, Allen, Sarah and Quade
Allen and Sarah are like two pea's in a pod they kept each other
entertained the whole weekend!

Scott keeping warm by the campfire our first night out.
It was definitely the coldest!

Jarett enjoying a nice gooey marsh mellow
Poor boy was so cold some how he had managed to do a head dive into the dog water so his Jacket was all wet. So I had him all wrapped up in his blanket to keep warm. Here he is not in it cause I put him down to take some pictures.

Scott and the boys roasting marshmallow's for Smore's!

Scott showing the kids how to Gut and Clean the Rainbow trout
that everyone caught that day. I had asked Sarah to take some pictures for me of the kids learning how to clean the trout. The only two decent pictures were the one's I included. Other then that I had about 3o pictures of Fish Gut's on the ground and bloody fish heads. Not sure where the mix up happened but apparently to Sarah fish heads and guts were more interesting the actual people!

Here Allen is helping Scott rinse the fish.

Jarett enjoying being very dirty and his Binki!

Benjamin helping to gather firewood for our huge bonfires we had!

Scott and Quade hauling a nice big log for our fire.

Here I am practicing my balancing.
Actually I was standing on one end of the log while Ben Willis was on the other end trying to break it off into the fire.

My Dirty Monkey!

Scott making Cobbler in the Dutch Oven for dessert! YUMMY
Charlie, Quade and Ben learning how.

We went fishing again the second day, but didn't have much luck this time.
Jarett and Sarah

Here are my Fishermen!

Quade and his fishing pole! He was excited he thought he caught a fish,
but it was really just the bait that looked like a little fish!

Oh Yeah I caught a BIG ONE!

Jarett, Charlie Willis, and Quade enjoying a snack by the lake!

Up at Bear Canyon Lake there were Lot's of little snow patches
The boys loved to play in it. Jarett loved to eat it!

Charlie and Quade were jumping and rolling in the Snow

Scott and Ben working with the wood.
Scott made himself a very nice Walking stick and Ben was trying to make one too!
